Life can only be understood backwards, but must be lived
forwards. (Kirkegaard)

The focus in individual therapy lies upon the understanding
of how our childhood experiences, our relationships to our
parents as well as our parents’ relationship to each other
and our history shape the way we see our current world.

Through comprehending the influence of our history on our
personality as a grown-up and our relationships as a
grown-up we can learn to understand ourselves and finally
can take our life into our own hands and create our own way of
life.
